Flood warnings: Latest advice

A number of flood warnings imposed after heavy rain have been lifted.

New flood warning issued

A Flood Warning has been issued by the Environment Agency for the River Kennet from Denford down to Marsh Benham.

Flooding is expected for the River Kennet from Denford down to Marsh Benham including Kintbury in the next few hours.

Levels on the Kennet are already high and are slowly rising in response to heavy rainfall experienced today.

Property flooding is expected to affect a couple of low lying properties closest to the river in the next few hours.

Levels will remain very high for the rest of the day and overnight.

Flood warnings lifted

A number of flood warnings imposed after heavy rain have been lifted.

Warnings for the River Thames between Newbridge and Kings Lock and between Goring and Streatley are no longer in force.

No further flooding is currently expected in this area.

However, a Flood Warning has been issued by the Environment Agency for the River Thames from Buscot Wick down to Shifford.

Flooding is expected for the River Thames from Buscot Wick down to Shifford including Buscot, Kelmscott, Radcot, Lower Bampton area and Chimney Area.
