The A230 Maidstone Road is closed both ways due to an accident - two vehicles involved at Wallace Road.

TRAVEL - ROADS: WATERLOOVILLE - Overturned car on A3
Slow traffic due to accident and overturned car on A3(M) in both directions at J2 B2149 (Horndean / Cowplain).
A car has overturned southbound and crossed over the motorway and is now on its side on the hard shoulder on the northbound carriageway. All running lanes are still open on the motorway.
TRAVEL - ROADS: HAMPSHIRE - Broken down vehicle on M27
One lane closed due to broken down vehicle on M27 Eastbound between J5 A335 (Southampton Airport / Eastleigh) and J7 A334 / B3036 (Hedge End). In lane one, but not causing any problems.
Delay misery for region's commuters
Millions of rail passengers suffered miserable journeys this morning after a series of problems led to long delays on major routes.
The difficulties included hold-ups in and out of Victoria, King's Cross, Moorgate and Fenchurch Street stations in London.
Problems at Victoria came after smoke was seen pouring from the engine of an empty Gatwick Express train.
The station was evacuated and, although it later reopened, long delays persisted through the morning, with some London-bound rush-hour travellers held up outside Victoria for up to an hour.
A broken-down train at Angmering in West Sussex meant buses had to replace trains between Worthing and Littlehampton.
Nearby, a signalling problem at Chichester led to delays between Barnham and Havant in Hampshire.

Lane one of three was closed in the roadworks. All lanes reopened just before 8.30am which added to the usual morning queues.
