Drivers are being advised to take extra care if travelling on Dorset’s roads this morning, when snow is forecast to sweep across the county. Dorset County Council’s Traffic Control Centre in Dorchester has been manned since midnight to coordinate the winter highways operations.
Approximately 680 miles of road have been gritted with around 80 tonnes of salt.
