The army has been in Portsmouth today with special recovery trucks attempting to move two enormous amphibious vehicles. The craft are on an area of wasteland just outside the city which is due to be regenerated - so they need to be moved.
But at sixty tonnes each that's easier said than done - as Heather Edwards found out.
Two giants have been on the move today - in a large scale tug-of-war. Territorial army soldiers from Portsmouth-based 128 Field Company, Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers are taking on two huge former United States Navy amphibious vehicles.
