TRAVEL - TRAINS: SOUTH WEST TRAINS - buses replace trains from Surbiton to Woking

Buses are replacing trains from Surbiton towards Woking until 7.30am.

There is over-running engineering work taking place between Weybridge and West Byfleet.

Because of this, a limited bus service is running from Surbiton towards Woking. This will continue until approximately 07:30.

Trains are running from Woking towards London Waterloo.

The route affected: London Waterloo, Wimbledon, Surbiton, Esher, Hersham, Walton-on-Thames, Byfleet & New Haw, West Byfleet, Woking and Guildford.

Two flown to hospital after A34 crash

Two people have been flown to Southampton General Hospital with serious injuries after an accident on the A34 in Hampshire. A third person with minor injuries has been taken to the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester. A car overturned on the southbound carriage of the A34 about 4pm today.

Lane two of the northbound carriageway is open, whilst lane one should be reopened in the next hour. The southbound carriageway is open but drivers are slowing down to look at what's happening which is causing hold ups.
