Drug dealers in the South are being targeted in a series of major police operations. Hundreds of arrests have been made in Southampton as part of a two year crackdown.
And last week, two men were sentenced to more than 40 years in jail for trying to smuggle drugs on a sailing boat off the Isle of Wight.
In Brighton, dozens of people have been detained after a six month covert operation. But is there a better way to tackle the drug problem? Malcolm Shaw has been investigating.
