Gatwick Airport today announced major investment plans but passenger fees will rise to pay for it.

Gatwick Airport announce plans to increase fees for passengers by up to three pounds per person. This could take them to £11.45 by 2018. This is part of an extra £1billion investment over five yeas.
The airport is also calling for and end to it being regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority.
