Police are investigating after thousands of pounds of jewellery was stolen from a shop in Winchester.

The incident took place just before 11pm on Sunday at Bellis, Winchester High Street.

Three men forced their way into the shop and stole Pandora charms and bracelets valued at £40,000.

They left the shop and ran off in the direction of St Thomas Street.

A 44-year-old woman from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to burgle and is currently in police custody.
