TRAVEL - RAIL: HAMPSHIRE - Delays after car hits bridge
No service on South West Trains between Brockenhurst and Lymington Pier due to road vehicle hitting a bridge. Trains are currently unable to run.
A bridge inspector is due to arrive on site at around 3pm to check if it is safe to run trains - services will be suspended until the bridge is declared safe.
A20 London bound closed, slow traffic due to fuel spillage and accident investigation work between B2011 (Court Wood Interchange) and Alkham Valley Road (Round Hill Tunnel).
Two lorries were involved in a serious accident just after 8am this morning, with the road expected to remain closed until early afternoon.
A226 East Milton Road in Gravesend closed both ways due to accident, a vehicle and a pedestrian involved between Empress Road and B261 Old Road East. near to St Johns School.
There are delays on the M25 clockwise between J4 A21 / A224 (Orpington) and J5 M26 / A21. The average speed 15 mph is inn the roadworks area. Travel time is 15 minutes.
A21 Pembury Road in both directions closed due to police incident between Longfield Road / Tonbridge Road (North Farm Roundabout) and A228 (Tunbridge Wells / Pembury Turn Off). The road has been closed in both directions.
This is separate to the earlier broken down vehicle in the same location which was cleared from the carriageway at around 11:25am.
Two lanes blocked and very slow traffic due to accident, three cars involved on M2 London bound between J4 A278 (Gillingham) and J3 A229 (Chatham / Rochester), congestion to J5 A249 (Sittingbourne/stockbury Roundabout). Lane two and three (of three) are closed.
