Knife-point robbery at bookies

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a knife-point robbery in Banbury last night. Just before 10pm, a man entered Corals bookmakers in the Ruscote Arcade, went up to the counter, and threatened the staff member with a knife.

Description of knife-point robbery suspect

The offender is about 6ft, and was wearing black clothing and had his face covered. He turned left after leaving the shop.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a knife-point robbery in Banbury last night. Just before 10pm, a man entered Corals bookmakers in the Ruscote Arcade, went up to the counter, and threatened the staff member with a knife, demanding cash from the till.

The assistant opened the till and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the man ran out of the shop.

The assistant was not injured but he was left shaken and upset.
