Man's ear bitten off in nightclub

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a man had his ear bitten off in a nightclub in Banbury in the early hours of this morning.

This was a violent and unprovoked assault which has left the victim requiring plastic surgery after a part of his ear was bitten off. CCTV from the club shows the dance floor was crowded so there must be a number of people who saw the incident and I would urge them to come forward.”

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a man had his ear bitten off in a nightclub in Banbury in the early hours of this morning. At about 12:30am, a 19-year-old was on the dance floor in the Sound Exchange, talking to a woman, when he was hit on the head several times.

During the assault, part of his left ear was bitten off. The victim was taken to the JR2 Hospital where he is getting treatment for his ear injury.
