Road still closed as police investigate motorbike crash

Surrey Police are investigating after a motorcycle hit a parked and unoccupied car yesterday.

Officers closed Limpsfield Road at the crossroads with Hamsey Green and Tithepit Shaw Lane and the road remains closed while collision investigators continue to examine the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or with any information should call Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference P13062462, or call independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Motorbike rider in hospital after hitting parked car

Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Warlingham. It happened on the B269 Limpsfield Road at around 2.30pm yesterday when a blue and white Suzuki motorcycle collided with a parked and unoccupied blue Renault Clio.

The motorcycle rider, a 23-year-old man, was taken by air ambulance to Kings College Hospital in London where he remains in a serious but stable condition. No one else was injured in the incident.
