The inquest is taking place of speedway rider Lee Richardson, originally from Sussex. Mr Richardson, who rode for the Poole Pirates and the Lakeside Hammers, was killed in a crash in Poland in 2012.

He was described by those who raced with him as "a great captain and a wonderful father and husband". Today the inquest into the death of speedway racer Lee Richardson from Hastings recorded a verdict of accidental death.

The father-of-three died in an horrific crash in Poland last year. From Hastings Coroner's Court, David Johns reports and speaks to Lee's mother Julie Bowles.
