Do you recognise this man? Credit: Kent Police

Kent Police have released this CCTV image showing a man they want to identify, following a report of an armed robbery at a house in Four Elms, near Edenbridge, in the early hours of Tuesday.

A group of masked men broke into the house and entered a woman's bedroom.

She was ordered out of bed while the men stole jewellery, including men's watches. The victim said one of the intruders carried a black handgun.

Three men have already been arrested in connection with the robbery. The man, around 6ft 3ins tall with a thin face, may be local to the Tonbridge area.

DI John McDermott said: "From entry to exit the offenders took only a few minutes. However they put the family through the most terrifying ordeal.

"No-one should be subjected to an ordeal like this. I am determined to track down those responsible and bring them to justice, to answer for this despicable offence before a court of law."

Anyone with information is asked to call Kent Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
