A man, who's believed to have been one of two who raided a jewellers in Oxford, has died.

A man has died after an armed robbery in Oxford. 33-year-old Clint Townsend died at the John Radcliffe Hospital yesterday. He is thought to have been one of the men involved in an attack on a jewellers' shop in the Covered Market on Saturday.

Specially trained officers investigate armed robbery

This is very much still an active investigation and there are a number of people helping us with our enquiries. We have specially trained officers working with all those involved in this incident. Two men, aged 31 and 32 have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and are currently in police custody.
