The family of a young man who was killed when a tyre exploded in his face reacted angrily today as an inquest jury returned a verdict of accidental death.

Matthew Hoare died seven years ago. The tragedy happened as he fitted a tyre to a digger in Canterbury. At the inquest - his employers were asked a number questions about health and safety - and Matthew's training - which they declined to answer.
