Two police officers have been described as being reckless and indifferent towards a man who died as he was being restrained in his flat in Gillingham. The Police constables from Kent deny misconduct in public office.

Two police officers have been accused of behaving with 'reckless indifference' after restraining a man who died. Today Maurice Leigh and Neil Bowdery went on trial charged with misconduct in public office. Both deny the allegations. Tom Savvides reports from Maidstone Crown Court.
