He spent 35 days carefully cutting out jigsaw pieces by hand and creating what he believed would be a record-breaking puzzle. It was destined to be hung at Sandringham - the Queen's country house.
However just hours after it's completion, disaster struck and the whole thing - all 40,000 pieces - came tumbling down.
After five weeks of finger-threatening cutting, a man from Dorset has created what he hopes will be the world's largest hand-cut jigsaw. It contains forty thousand pieces and shows images of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
