Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene of the collision at Pannell Close at 8.40pm.

A 15-year-old boy was taken to St Georges Hospital, London and is in a stable but serious condition.

The road was closed for several hours whilst investigation work was carried out and I would like to thank drivers for their patience.
