A fire has ripped through a thatched cottage in Oxfordshire.
Firefighters were called to the cottage in East Hagbourne near Didcot at around 10:30pm on Saturday night. The people inside managed to escape unhurt.
Crews remain at the scene today.
Upto 30 firefighters have tackled a blaze at a thatched cottage in Oxfordshire.
Crews from Wantage, Didcot, Abingdon, Woodstock, Oxford, Kidlington, Wheatley and Eynsham were called to the cottage at East Hagbourne near Didcot at 10:30pm on Saturday night.
The fire rapidly spread to the roof of the cottage. The occupiers escaped unhurt.
Crews worked through the night damping down the thatch. The road will remain closed for much of Sunday.
