Work to extinguish a large fire at a recycling plant in Sittingbourne in Kent is continuing. It broke out yesterday. Fire crews have been on site overnight spraying water onto the blaze.
Smoke has been billowing high above Kent from a fire at a recycling plant. Firefighters have been at the plant in Sittingbourne all day.
Two men have been treated at the scene. People living nearby have been asked to keep windows and doors shut as a precaution.

Around sixty firefighters are tackling a huge blaze at Sittingbourne recycling centre. It started just after eight o'clock this morning in Gas Road. People living nearby are being asked to close their windows. Smoke can be seen from miles away.
