Video. Prince Charles tried oysters on the seafront - the Duchess of Cornwall wasn't quite so keen - before they headed to one of the region's oldest dockyards.

There were plenty of presents for their little grandson, the world's newest prince. And the royal couple showed themselves to be dab hands at the samba, too. Jamie Stephens reports.


Kent welcomes Royal visitors

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall will visit the Whitstable Oyster Festival today as part of visit to Kent.

The festival has been running since 1985, but the cultivation of oysters in the area began during the Roman occupation.

The Royal couple will also visit the Prince's Trust Centre in Chatham and the Historic Dockyard Chatham.
