M40 closed after lorry overturns

M40 Buckinghamshire - Queueing traffic and the main road is closed, with traffic being routed around the junction and back on again, on M40 northbound at J1a M25, because of a shed load of household waste, an overturned lorry and recovery work.

Diversion in operation - anticlockwise on the M25 to J14, returning clockwise. Congestion to J1, A40 (Denham Roundabout).

Closure on M25

M25 anticlockwise exit slip road to M40 North closed due to recovery work at J16 M40.The slip road has been closed to facilitate the recovery of an overturned lorry on the M40.

Lorry overturns in Surrey

A lorry has turned over on the A24 from the Kingsfold area.

The road has been closed between the Marches Road junction and the Clark's Green roundabout in Surrey.

The lorry driver lost control of his vehicle as he travelled south and it went into a ditch at 9.40am.

It was carrying two cherry pickers which came off the back of the lorry and landed on a garden and parked cars on a driveway.

The road is not expected to re-open before 2pm.

M25 anticlockwise blocked

The M25 anticlockwise is blocked, there is stationary traffic due to an accident and a couple of cars and a lorry involved between J28 A1023 Brook Street and J27 M11, congestion to J29 A127 (Romford).

All traffic has been held since 10.20am as the emergency services attend an accident across the outside three lanes.
