A Bournemouth man has been sentenced for a burglary in Hampshire after 34 similar offences.

A Bournemouth man has been sentenced to three years in jail after he admitted to burgling a home.

Jason Baccus, 37-years-old, was also found guilty of 34 similar offences - with 22 occurring in the Weymouth, Poole and Bournemouth areas.

He was sentenced at Bournemouth Crown Court on Friday, August 9.

Richard Dixey, of the Priority Crime Team, said: "This case provides an excellent example of the way in which forces can work together to achieve a positive result.

"I hope that the conviction of Baccus will provide some comfort to the victims of his burglary offences."
