Car producers MINI are celebrating 100 years of producing the make at a plant in Oxford.

The MINI plant in Oxford has opened its centenary exhibition today to celebrate car making in Oxfordshire.

Visitors will be able to see a display of classic cars ranging from an early Bullnose Morris through to a modern day MINI.

The first car built in Oxford was the Bullnose Morris Oxford which emerged on 28th March 1913.

MINI celebrates centenary at plant in Oxford

The MINI plant in Oxford will open a centenary exhibition later as part of celebrations to mark one hundred years of car making in the city. Classic cars will be on display and owners are being invited to bring theirs too.
