Investigations are under way as 100 kilos of cannabis was seized from a lorry in Portsmouth. It's estimated the drug would cost £300,000 on the street.
Officers examined the Belgium registered vehicle which had arrived on a ferry from Bilbao. They found the drugs hidden in the body of the trailer.
Carole Upshall, Director of Border Force South said, "There is no doubt that this cannabis would have ended up on the streets of the UK, causing significant damage to local communities and people, if Border Force officers had not intercepted it.”
