A man who was crushed in his car by a falling tree has praised the emergency services for saving his life.

Speaking for the first time about his ordeal to ITV Meridian News, Graham Forward said he would certainly have died were it not for police officers, the fire brigade and the Kent Air Ambulance.

The incident happened in Tonbridge on July 26 and Mr Forward is now out of hospital and recovering from severe injuries to his back, hip and pelvis.
