A dozen of Conservative MPs were among thirty who voted against the government last night, regarding Syria.
One of the leading rebels was the MP for Basildon, John Baron. A former military man, he had previously served in the British Army working for the United Nations. He thinks the British have no business in Syria and had no regrets about voting against his own party.
With the government deciding last night to not take military action in Syria, we spoke to people in Fareham High Street to see if they thought it was the right or wrong decision.
