A painting by one of Britain's greatest artists has been discovered in Dorset.

The nine inch watercolour was discovered in a cardboard folio of prints and has been confirmed as an original piece by John Constable.

It is expected to sell for more than £5000 when it is put up for auction on 26th September.

Experts believe the painting dates back to 1803.
