A gang of thieves gained entry to a Rushington bank and tried to break into a cash machine.
The incident happened at 4am on Sunday 15th September, where the group were spotted on the roof of the Santander branch in Ash Lane.
A hole had been created in the roof and several people had entered the bank to try and open a cash machine inside.
The alarm was set off and security smoke was released.
When members of the public shouted at the group, they fled from the bank empty handed into cars nearby.
