Pavements getting resurfaced in Reading

More than £90,000 is being spent on resurfacing pavements in Reading.

Over the next 6 weeks, pavements across the town will be resurfaced with the work hoping to be completed by Friday 1st November.

Tony Page, the lead councillor for strategic environment, planning and transport said, "I am pleased to see the start of a pavement resurfacing programme in 23 residential streets across the town which will mean better pavements for all pedestrians and got local residents living on those streets.

"It comes on top of the council's £1.5 million investment this year in better road surfaces for both major and residential road in the town."
