Woman raped in Sussex

Police are renewing an appeal for witnesses after a woman was raped in Crawley.

Group "may have seen suspects"

Police investigating a rape in Sussex are keen to trace anyone that saw a 20-year-old woman walking from Regents Close onto Woodmans Hill, Crawley after midnight on 6th October 2013.

It is also believed that a group of women and men may have seen the two suspects on Woodmans Hill at about 12.20am.

This was a vicious and unprovoked attack and the victim is being comforted by family and friends. Anyone who may have seen the victim or the suspects are asked to come forward."

Police hunt for two men

Police are renewing an appeal for witnesses after a woman was raped in Broadfield Forest early on 6th October 2013.

The 20-year-old was walking from Regents Close to Woodmans Hill, Crawley when she was approached by two men who then attacked her in the forest sometime between midnight and 12.30am.

The first suspect is described as white with pale skin, 5' 11'', of skinny build and aged in his late 30s. The second man is white, very short in height, of medium build and aged in his early 30s. They were wearing dark clothing and one was believed to be wearing a hat.
