Environment Agency reveal flooding risks for upcoming days

The Environment Agency have published a list of counties who are at risk of flooding, with Kent and Medway the only counties at medium risk across the UK today.

According to the list, tomorrow and Sunday only holds a low risk of flooding for counties around the UK.

Today there are low risks for: Brighton and Hove, East Sussex, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, West Sussex, Dorset and Wiltshire.

Tomorrow the only counties in our region at low risk of flooding are: Kent, Medway, Dorset and Wiltshire.

Dorset and Wiltshire also remain on the list for risk of flooding on Sunday.

Today's weather: dry with winds easing

This Evening and Tonight:Most places will have a dry night with clear periods. However, there may be some showers near to the south coast. Winds will ease during the night and it will become quite cold with a frost forming on the ground. Minimum temperature 1 deg C (34 deg F).

Saturday:After a chilly start there will be some sunny periods and scattered showers, these mainly in the south and could be heavy. Feeling pleasant in the sunshine with lighter winds. Maximum temperature 8 deg C (46 deg F).

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:A dry day Sunday with some sunshine. Overnight wind and rain will clear after midday Monday to leave a drier afternoon. Further wind and rain arriving during Tuesday.

Today:Rain will clear during the morning to leave a windy afternoon of sunshine and the odd showers. Many places will stay dry and any showers that come along will move through quickly. Feeling chilly in the wind. Maximum temperature 12 deg C (54 deg F).

Tonight:Most places will have a dry night with clear periods. Winds will ease during the night and it will become quite cold with a frost forming on the ground. Minimum temperature 2 deg C (36 deg F).

Saturday:After a chilly start many places will be fine with some sunshine. A few showers may affect southern coasts. With lighter winds it should feel pleasant in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 8 deg C (46 deg F).
