– Family tribute
Zoe was much loved and will be dreadfully missed by all her family, friends and indeed everyone that she met. She was a wonderfully thoughtful and generous child who was not only determined to achieve success in her life but who was great fun to be around.
Zoe was also enjoying a relationship with a kind and caring boyfriend, Joe, which was bringing out the best in her and helping her grow into a more confident young lady. Sleep tight Angel, you will never be forgotten.'
The family of a teenager who was fatally injured in a road traffic collision in Coxheath have paid tribute to a 'determined, thoughtful and generous' daughter.
Zoe Hannah Georgiou died when she struck by a silver Mazda in Heath Road on Saturday 11 January. She had been walking with her boyfriend at around 6pm when the incident occurred. The 16 year-old died at the scene.
A pupil of Invicta Grammar School in Maidstone, Zoe was described as a high achiever who would turn her hand to almost anything.
Kent Police say this was 'not a hit and run incident, nor was the driver of the Mazda arrested'.
