Salvation Army helps feed firefighters battling the floods

Volunteers from the Salvation Army have arrived at Whitley Wood Fire Station in Reading to supply crews tackling the floods with hot breakfasts and drinks.

Berkshire firefighters' flood relief efforts rewarded

Firefighters who have been working around the clock to battle the floods in Berkshire and Oxfordshire were being looked after themselves today.

Volunteers from The Salvation Army descended on Whitley Wood Fire Station in Reading to provide hot food and drinks to crews from across the country who've been drafted in to help out.
