Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road traffic collision in Hartley Wintney. Hampshire Constabulary were called to a collision involving a pedestrian and a lorry travelling north on the A30 at Hartford Bridge on Monday afternoon.
The pedestrian, a teenage boy, was taken to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The occupants of the white Volvo lorry, two men aged in their 30s, were not injured, but left shaken by what happened. They are being treated as witnesses to this collision.
No other vehicles were involved.
Police remain in the process of informing all next-of-kin. Hampshire Constabulary won't be in a position to confirm the deceased pedestrian's name in the media until all formal identification procedures are completed.
