Officers from the Kent Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit want to hear from anyone who saw a collision involving six vehicles on the A20 on 8th March 2014. The incident left a 12-year-old boy with abdominal injuries.
This was a very serious incident which blocked the carriageway and led to the closure of the A20 from Crittals corner to the M25 junction. Thankfully there has been no loss of life, which could so easily have been the case. We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw the vehicles being driven prior to the collision."
Kent Police is appealing for witnesses following a crash on the A20 which left a child seriously injured.
At about 8.30pm on 8th March 2014, police received reports six vehicles had been involved in a collision on the A20 between Swanley and Sidcup on the coast-bound carriageway.
A family of two adults and two children travelling in a Renault Traffic minibus were hurt in the collision, including a 12 year-old boy who was treated at Kings College Hospital for serious abdominal injuries. The boy remains in hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The driver of a Renault Clio suffered concussion and minor head injuries.
