More than £66,000 has been donated in memory of Christian Smith

Friends and family of a Kent cyclist who was killed on a charity bike ride, have thanked donors who have given money, smashing his fund-raising target.
More than £66,000 has been given to Christian Smith's JustGiving webpage since he was killed in the crash.
He had originally aimed to raise £1000 for the mental health charity Mind.
Relatives and friends have said the donations are a "great comfort" at a"sad and difficult" time.
Mr Smith died when he was in a crash with a car on Saturday morning, during his 248 mile charity bike ride.
A 19-year-old man was held on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and an 18-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Tributes are being paid to a father-of-three killed on a charity bike ride around Kent and Sussex following a collision with a car.
Christian Smith died on the A2990 - the Old Thanet Way - near Whitstable in the early hours of Saturday morning. Since then almost £60,000 has been pledged to the charity he was supporting.

A second person has been arrested by officers investigating the death of Christian Smith.
A 19-year-old man from the Herne Bay area was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He has been bailed pending further investigation until 27th July.
An 18-year-old woman was arrested and released on bail in connection with the cyclists death too.
Christian Smith died when his bike collided with a blue Peugeot 206 near Chestfield on Saturday morning.
Investigating officer PC Jamie Woodhams is appealing for witnesses to come forward.

A cyclist who was killed while on a charity bike ride in Kent has raised nearly £40,000.
Father of three Christian Smith was in a collision with a car on Saturday morning.
His family say he was raising money for the charity MIND.
The 18-year-old woman driving the car, who was arrested, has been bailed while investigations continue.
Paul Farmer, chief executive of MIND said the charity are "devastated" to hear the news and thanks the public for their continued donations.

A man killed in a road traffic collision on the A2990 Old Thanet Way has been named.
Christian Smith, in his 30s, was on a charity bicycle ride travelling towards Whitstable when he was in a collision with a blue Peugeot 206 near Chestfield at around 4am on 22nd March 2014.
His family has released the following statement: "Christian Smith, of Boughton Aulph in Kent, was killed in the early hours of Saturday morning, while cycling to raise money for the MIND charity. Christian leaves a loving wife and three children."

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in police custody, after a cyclist died in a collision earlier today in Kent.

A man from the Ashford area has died after a collision on the A2990 in Kent.
Police were called just after 4am today to a collision between a cyclist and a blue Peugeot 206 near Chestfield, Whitstable.
The cyclist was declared dead at the scene.
