Police are appealing witnesses after a 70-year-old cyclist was left in a serious condition after a crash with a car in Curdridge.

Police are appealing witnesses after a 70-year-old cyclist was left in a serious condition after a crash with a car in Curdridge. The man was cycling along the A334 between Wickham and Botley near Reading Room Lane at Curdridge when he was involved in a collision with a car.

He was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he is currently being treated. His condition is described as serious.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who saw him prior to the accident or witnessed the collision itself.

They are asked to call Sergeant Darren Ord at the Operation Aldoth team on 101.
