A man has died after an aircraft has crashed near Buckingham.

Plane wreckage taken from site of fatal crash

Three trucks carrying the wreckage of the plane tonight left the farm where it crashed.

The plane's propeller could be seen poking out from under a tarpaulin sheet on the back of a low-loader lorry.

Two other trucks carried out other bits of debris, including a wing section which was visible on one of the lorries.

An Air Accidents Investigation Branch vehicle and a 4x4 carrying men wearing military uniforms made up the rest of the convoy, which left the farm at 5.10pm.

Three police vehicles had earlier left the scene at around 3.20pm.

The Air Accidents Investigation Branch have launched an investigation after the plane crashed between the A413 and A421.
