Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a missing Basingstoke man.Luke Daffy, 33, was last seen leaving The Purefoy Arms, Alresford Road, Preston Candover, Basingstoke.

An altercation occured between Luke and another man during the early hours of Monday, September 1 at The Purefoy Arms. Mr Daffy left the scene before police arrived and has not been seen since.

A witness has told police that Luke appeared to have a head injury and was covered in blood.

"We have serious concerns over Luke’s welfare and we need to make contact with him as soon as possible. It is believe he sustained a head injury during the altercation and we need to find him to ensure he is safe and well. If you have any information about where he might be, please call the police immediately. I would also appeal directly to Luke to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
