Formal identification of Faringdon murder victim

Thames Valley Police have formally identified the victim of a murder in Faringdon has taken place.

The boy has been identified as Tyler Warmington, aged five.

Tyler was found dead on Tuesday at a property in Bromsgrove Cottages, and a murder investigation has been launched in relation to his death.

A 40-year-old woman from Faringdon was arrested on suspicion of murder and was bailed until 12 April.

The boy found dead at a house in Faringdon, Oxfordshire, was stabbed, a post-mortem examination has found.

Police launched the murder investigation after the boy was discovered on Tuesday at Bromsgrove Cottages.

A 40-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on bail until 12 April.

Police have confirmed the body of a boy they found in Oxfordshire is of primary school age.

Officers found the body at Bromsgrove Cottages in Faringdon yesterday afternoon.

They have arrested a 40-year-old woman from Faringdon on suspicion of murder.

A murder investigation has been launched after the death of a young child in Oxfordshire.

Officers from Thames Valley Police were called to Bromsgrove cottages in Faringdon at about 1.20pm, on arriving they found the body of the young child. A 40-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of murder is being questioned by police.

“Following the discovery of a deceased child, we have launched a murder investigation.

“The next of kin have been informed and we are offering support to them.

“We are in the very early stages of this investigation and an arrest has been made in connection with this incident.
