Afghanistan medals for Wiltshire regiment
Members of 26 Engineer Regiment will receive campaign medals at Swinton Barracks in Wiltshire later. It follows a tour of Afghanistan.

Soldiers "We are happy to be home"
Members of 8 Armoured Engineer Squadron who returned to their base in Wiltshire yesterday evening say they are very happy to be home. The regiment lost one soldier during their recent tour of Afghanistan.
The soldiers spoke to Meridian's Robert Murphy.

Soldiers return home
Members of the 26 Engineer Regiment have returned to their families after completing a tour of Afghanistan. One member of the regiment died during the tour of Helmand Province.
Lance Corporal Matthew David Smith from Aldershot, was killed in the Nad 'Ali district when he was hit by small arms fire on Friday, 10 August 2012
