Police in Kent are trying to track down an important witness following a fatal crash on the M20 on Boxing Day. The accident happened between junctions 2 and 1 on the London-bound carriageway of the motorway just before 8pm.
The single-vehicle collision involved a silver Vauxhall Vectra driven by a man in his 50s who died at the scene. Inspector Martin Stevens from Kent Police said officers want to trace a witness who may now be in Scotland.
"We're particularly keen to speak with a male witness who made the initial 999 call for this incident. Unfortunately due to an error with the phone number given we have been unable to make contact with him. The number given had a Scottish landline code so it is possible this witness is not in Kent."
