A 'virtual reality lab' has been set up as part of Brighton's Digital Festival.
From Friday visitors to the city's Old Market venue will be able to experience more than 15 different immersive worlds, including one that lets users view 'through the eyes of animals' - as Robin McNicholas explains.
The largest of its kind in the country, the Digital Festival runs until the end of the month.
Preparation for this year's Brighton Digital Festival will begin with an open meeting, for anyone who wants to get involved, at the Fabrica Gallery on Tuesday, February 12th.
Events specialist Tom Bailey has been appointed the 2013 festival's manager.
He said: “I’m very excited and honoured to take on the festival manager role. Its phenomenal growth over the past couple of years has gained our city respect nationally, across Europe and in the States as a destination for one of the most diverse and creative digital art festivals on the planet."
The festival is month-long celebration of digital culture, from 1 to 30 September, led by the digital and arts communities across the city, including conferences, exhibitions, installations and workshops.
Last year's event featured over 100 events and was attended by more than 25,000 people.
