A 25-year-old man is in hospital after the car he was driving came off a flyover on the A303 and overturned onto the A34 beneath. Hampshire Police are appealing for witnesses. It happened at about 5.40am on Monday 18th Februry at Bullington Cross near Sutton Scotney.

It came off the carriageway, became airborne and landed on its roof on the slip road beneath the A34
It happened at around 5.40am this morning. The driver was freed from the car by firefighters. He is in Southampton General Hospital being treated for life threatening injuries to his head and spine. His condition is critical, but stable.
No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the accident. Anyone who saw the vehicle before the collision is being asked to contact Sergeant Nigel Burt at Whitchurch Roads Policing unit on 101, quoting Operation Marham. Or telephone Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
