A woman has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm after allegedly biting a part of her victims nose off.
The incident happened at Butlins in Bognor Regis on Sunday. Tina Love, 27, has been charged and bailed to appear at Worthing Magistrates' Court on 27th August.
The 47-year-old victim was taken to St Richards hospital in Chichester where efforts were made to replace the piece of her nose.
A woman has had part of her nose bitten off while watching a Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime at Butlins.
The woman, who was a guest at the Bognor holiday centre, was attacked 6.30pm on Thursday 11 April
The woman was treated for her injuries at St Richards Hospital, Chichester, including an attempt to replace a piece of her nose which had allegedly been bitten off by the offender.
She has since been discharged from hospital to recuperate.
A 27-year old woman from Dartford, Kent, was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and has been bailed until 16 June.
Detective Sergeant Mark Townsend said; "We are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to contact us via 101 quoting serial 1257 of 11/4."
A man has died when he fell from a balcony at the Butlins holiday camp in Bognor Regis, West Sussex.
Timothy Hall, who was 23 and from Ringwood in Hampshire, died in the early hours of this morning despite resuscitation attempts by an ambulance crew.
A spokesman from Sussex Police said: "At this time the death is being treated as unexplained, however it's not considered to be suspicious and next of kin have been informed."
The Coroner has been advised and a postmortem will take place in due course.
