Detectives have been granted more time to question a 17 year old and a 19 year old arrested for the murder of a man in Wiltshire. Roger Millar, who was 44, died in hospital on 6 June.
He was found lying in the road in Barnham Court in Rodbourne after being stabbed. Two other teenagers who were being questioned have been released on bail.
Detectives investigating the murder of Roger Millar in Swindon have bailed two men who were arrested on the nightof the murder. The men, aged 18, were bailed last night until lateJuly pending further enquiries. Two other men, aged 17 & 19, arrested on the 7thJune, remain in custody.
Wiltshire police have identified a man who was murdered in Swindon on Wednesday 6th June. The 44-year-old victim was Charles Roger Millar - who was known as Roger - from East Street in Swindon. His next of kin have been informed.
Mr Millar was found with stab wounds at Barnhum Court in Rodbourne area at about 1.30am on Wednesday. He was pronounced dead at the Great Western Hospital at 2.20am.
"We have had a good response from the public so far, but still appeal to anyone who has not yet come forward to contact us. Any small bit of information you have may help us to piece together what happened to Roger Millar.
"We will be continuing with house to house enquiries in the local ares today and to ask anyone who may have seen or heard anything between 0100am and 1.45am in the area of Barnum Court, Swindon to come forward and speak to police."
