Man seriously injured in collision

A man suffered multiple life-threatening injuries when he was hit by a car on Monday, 26th November 2012.

Paramedics were called to Crawley Avenue, near Ifield Community College at 11.33pm. The 20-year-old man, from Crawley was taken to Brighton's Royal Sussex County Hospital.

The driver of the silver Honda Jazz car involved, a 46-year-old man from Crawley, was shocked but uninjured.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw either the pedestrian or the car in the area in the time leading up to the collision to call.

Witness appeal after pensioner injured in bus collision

Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision which has left a 75-year-old pedestrian in hospital with serious injuries.

The collision between a bus and the pedestrian happened on the High Street in Worthing, near the junction with Charlecote Road at about 2.20pm on Saturday October 6.

The pensioner, who is from Worthing, is being treated at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting Operation Wyvern.

Biker in hospital after lamp post collision

A 21-year-old motorcyclist is in hospital in Southampton with serious injuries after a collision on the A259 Via Ravenna in Chichester on Sunday morning.

The incident happened at around 11am. The biker, from Chichester, was riding an orange and black Suzuki motorbike which left the road and collided with a lamp post.

Sussex Police are asking anyone with information about what happened is being asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting Operation Duffield.

"The road was closed until 4.45pm while police carried out an investigation. This caused a lot of traffic disruption in the area and we would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding."

Police appeal after mobility scooter collision

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward following a collision involving a pedestrian and a mobility scooter in Christchurch.

The rider of the scooter did not stop and continued toward Sopers Lane. Following further enquiries, I am now able to release a CCTV image of a lady that we would like to speak with. The picture shows a white woman, about 50-years-old, with long blonde hair, of stocky build, wearing a light coloured jacket. It may be that this lady can help me with my investigation.

CCTV released after mobility scooter collision

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision involving a pedestrian and a mobility scooter in Christchurch. It happened at about 1.50pm on Monday 30 April 2012 on the High Street outside the Zoo jewellery store. A 63-year-old woman sustained minor injuries to her head and legs.

Pensioner killed in Kent collision

Police in Kent are investigating a collision where an elderly woman was killed.

The incident in Mount Pleasant Road in Tunbridge Wells happened yesterday after a white Ford Transit van collided with the pensioner near to the railway station.

Ambulance crews attended, but were unable to revive the woman who sustained a head injury.
