PC Timothy Faltermeyer, said: “I would like to speak to any local business owners who may have had cooking oil or used cooking oil stolen from their premises, who have not already reported it to the police.”
Two men, both aged 20 and from London, have been arrested on suspicion of theft other including theft by finding, and have been released on police bail pending further enquiries until April 9.
Anyone with information should contact PC Faltermeyer at Aldershot police station on 101 or call Crimestoppers, the charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Police are appealing to potential victims of cooking oil thefts in Hampshire
They made their appeal after a vehicle was stopped on Kings Road, Fleet.
The vehicle was searched and a number of containers filled with cooking oil were located and police suspect it has been stolen from local businesses.
